Dear Melissa,
I came across your amazing story in the monthly magazine, The Curate’s Diary, February 2010 edition, (written by Fr Thady Doyle). I have long been a supporter of the pro life movement. We think, (at least I do), about babies who are in early stages of developement, having their lives terminated, and wonder what if they were allowed to live, what they might become. Here we have in you a marvelous human being, who has made such a miraculous escape, gone on to live a completely healthy life, get married and give birth to a beautiful daughter, Olivia. As a shining example of Christian forgiveness, you have found in your heart the courage and grace to forgive your biological parents for attempting to end your life. May God bless you and your family for the courage you show in bringing your testimony to the world.

Dear Melissa,
Your testimony, or should I say you yourself with God’s help, are powerful. Thank you for being who you are. Am doing a feature on you in the monthly magazine, The Curate’s Diary.
One little point of concern – that you felt down when the engagements didn’t continue to flow. So important that you totally ground yourself in Love (God), and in your marriage. Make sure that they always come first,

This is amazing. Melissa’s survival was a miracle carefully crafted by God and God alone. I wonder how her mother must be feeling by now – how I wish she joins the crusade against abortion. In all, wickedness does not pay. Congrats Melissa, God bless you real good.
